The mission of The Heimdal Foundation, is to bring hope and happiness to struggling people the world over. Through servicing the requests of caring soldiers and civilians, we are working towards bringing disconnected economies into the global community, that all may experience the benefits and the peace that comes from economic connectivity and world-wide trade.
Our Philosophy is that the key to peace and the eradication of poverty throughout the world is the spread and introduction of capitalist markets. By linking the isolated and disconnected economies to the global trade community, internal rule sets within these countries will find a working equilibrium with the rule sets of the rest of the world in order to allow the free flow of capital. This will greatly decrease the likelihood of military conflict and terror world wide.
We, and Operation Give, will endeavor to bring hope and solutions to the disconnected people of the world, where the U.S. military operates. We will provide assistance to the U.S. Military men and women in winning the hearts and minds of the people in these regions where the military is serving, in order to ease their suffering, and prepare them for a brighter future. We will provide our soldiers with the resources they need to accomplish two goals; improvement of over all health care and to provide disconnected individuals access to technology, education, industries, jobs and income.
One unique aspect of The Heimdal Foundation, and Operation Give, is that it not only supplies medical supplies and equipment to improve health care, but we also provide the resources to create industries for civilians in disconnected areas of the world. Operation Give also provides U.S. military personnel who are deployed in those areas with the opportunity to connect with the civilians, allowing them to become true ambassadors for peace. Often the military is our first responders in the efforts to bring about economic stability within the most isolated markets of the world. Operation Give, and The Heimdal Foundation, through its contacts within the military and DOD, can facilitate venture capitalist endeavors and peace through prosperity within these nations.
The Vision Statement and the overall Philosophy of The Heimdal Foundation was developed to not only fit within the parameters of the needed changes within the DOD and State Dept. (as stated by the Office Of Force Transformation), but to position us to be an integral part of this shift in how our Military, State Dept. (USAID), and Diplomatic Corp implement foreign policy post 9/11, irrespective of political party.
Publishing a Humanitarian World Magazine:
A monthly trade magazine for the Humanitarian Not-for-Profit industry: This would be used as a resource tool to bring these organizations together, a way for groups to be recognized, applauded, introduced, and to help others know what is going on in this industry and how we might all work together to create necessary synergies amongst the Non Profits of the world.
FDI (Foreign Direct Investment)
The Heimdal Foundation will act as a liaison and facilitator of FDI, as well as promoting venture capitalist endeavors within developing nations throughout the world.

How Did We Get Here?
Although The Heimdal Foundation started as the strategic and political wing of Operation Give (for whom we will continue our support), we will labor in an effort to eradicate the root causes of terrorism (hunger, poverty, economic disconnectedness).
